Phentermine first came on the market in 1959. It is the most prescribed appetite suppressant in the world and has been, since it first became available. Few medicines have been successful for such a long time. Phentermine is well known, safe and trusted.

Is Phentermine Addictive? There Have Been No Case Reports Or Published Studies Of Phentermine Addiction

Dr. Mansfield has been prescribing Phentermine to his patients since 1970. He has prescribed it to over 5000 patients and has never found Phentermine addictive. Side effects, which usually get better with continued use, are dry mouth, nervousness, and insomnia.

Do I have to be seen by a doctor to receive Phentermine? It Is Illegal To Purchase Prescription Medicines Without A Doctor’s Prescription

Patients must be seen in a doctor’s office for any prescription. Careful records must be kept by the doctor’s office. That is why Phentermine from online sources are usually illegitimate as it is illegal to sell prescription medicines without a prescription. Please contact our office directly to schedule a consultation to determine if this treatment is most beneficial for you.

Can Phentermine (Adipex or Fastin) Be Used In Maintenance?
DWL recommends returning every 30 days after patients are through losing weight to be weighed and checked by Dr. Mansfield in an effort to keep the weight off. Dr. Mansfield recommends these patients continue on an appetite suppressant daily such as Adipex or Fastin. If for some medical reason Dr. Mansfield decides not to recommend Adipex or Fastin to a patient, he will recommend non-prescription DWL Aditonin 50 mgm (5htp) to be taken with DWL’s Energy Booster, which are formulated for DWL in an FDA Certified & Inspected Facility. Dr. Mansfield has found that most of the patients who sincerely want to maintain their goal weight are able to do that by coming back monthly and continuing appetite suppressants. Dr. Mansfield will recommend to the rare patient who starts to gain weight to come in every 2 weeks as needed to stop weight gain. DWL also offers a food plan for Maintenance. Regular aerobic exercise when possible such as walking has been shown to be beneficial for maintaining weight loss. However, it is not required for weight loss or maintaining weight loss goals in most cases. Please request a copy of the Maintenance Food Plan. DWL is dedicated to helping patients lose weight and keep it off!

Can Patients Take More Than One Phentermine Dose Per Day?The Usual Dose Is One Tablet Or Capsule Every Morning

About one fourth of patients need to increase to one tablet or capsule twice per day.

Often times with weight gain comes lower sex drive. Some studies believe that at least 30% of obese people have a problem with sex drive, desire, or performance. Often time’s sex drive may be slowed down because a person does not like the way they look or feel with being overweight.

Dramatic Weight Loss Center tells our patients that they can make a change to themselves by losing weight and with that change comes enhanced libido.

Three Things one can do to Increase Sex Drive…

1. Losing at least 20 pounds can help stimulate sex hormones.
2. Working out can help increase the blood flow to all sex organs.
3. Eating more foods that will help increase libido, such as raw oyster, garlic, celery, liver, avocado and more protein.

It has been shown that it is important to have a healthy weight and body mass index (BMI) prior to trying to conceive. When a woman is overweight it can lead to complications during the pregnancy and for the unborn child. There have been researches done that shows overweight women are more likely to be at risk for gestational diabetes, high blood pressure, and having large babies. Research also shows that these women are at a higher risk for having a Cesarean section.

Women are encouraged to try to get into a healthy weight range prior to conceiving. This will increase the chances of a healthy pregnancy, and decrease the chance of having to seek fertility treatment. It will also prepare the expecting mother to have a healthy lifestyle in place for the entire family once baby comes. Getting into a healthy lifestyle prior to becoming pregnant will allow for one to be in the habit and continue it even after baby comes.

When we eat foods packed with carbohydrates, our body converts those carbohydrates into sugar (glucose). The glucose moves into our blood stream and causes blood sugar levels to increase. When blood sugar levels go up the pancreas is triggered to produce a hormone called insulin, which transports the glucose into our cells to use as energy.

The problem is that when blood sugar levels spike it causes an overproduction of insulin. This overproduction of insulin tells the body that there is plenty of energy readily available and it should stop burning fat and store it. Increases in blood sugar is also a concern because our body can only use so much of it as energy and the rest is stored as fat. This in turn causes weight gain.

An even greater problem is that these insulin surges cause blood sugar levels to drop below normal which causes us to feel tired and hungry again. As a result, we want to eat more food with higher sugar content and cycle begins again.

Everyone knows how important breakfast is, but a lot of people don’t know the importance of eating small meals through out the day. Eating “mini” meals through out the day not only helps one get though the day without gnawing their arm off, but also helps balance blood sugar and helps boost energy. Eating every 2 to 3 hours also helps burn more calories because each time one eats, the body has to work to break down the food and use it as fuel. That is, if they are consuming the right foods.

What are the right foods one may ask? Well, all sources of lean protein like turkey breast, chicken breast, egg whites and protein shakes. For more information on this and other weight loss ideas, visit www.DramaticWeightLoss.com.

Everyday people misconstrue the concept that eating one meal a day is actually better for them. This statement could not be more far from the truth. Eating only one meal a day is actually worse for the body and metabolism. When people do eat that one meal, they are consuming who knows how many calories, only one time a day.

When people do this, it slows the metabolism, in the way that it is over whelmed by how many calories the body is consuming in such a short amount of time. Eating 4-6 small meals a day is perfect for the body because it keeps the metabolism burning throughout the day. All in all eating small meals every so often makes a person feel happy and energized for the whole day!” For more information contact Dramatic Weight loss Center. 770-394-9991
