Roasted Peppers

Preparation – Stovetop; Tools – Tongs, Bowl, Plastic wrap; Prep

Time-18 min.

INGREDIENTS

• 1 each Red Pepper

• 1 each Green Pepper

• 1 each Yellow Pepper

DIRECTIONS

• Turn on Stovetop eye to high flame. Balance the

peppers on the stovetop grate above the flame.

• Let the peppers char on all sides, turning them

with tongs when one side appears burnt. They

should look burnt and blistered.

• Remove peppers from the stovetop and place

immediately in a bowl. Cover the bowl with

Plastic wrap and let it sit for 10 minutes.

• Remove the plastic wrap < careful of the steam>and rinse the peppers under cool running

water rubbing the charred skin off of the pepper

• Discard the center seed pod and cut the

peppers into strips.
